Mike was born and raised in Denver, Colorado.
After graduating from the University of Colorado he worked as a teacher and helped start a peoples food coop in Wisconsin. As a born again Christian God called him to finish medical school and complete a three year residency at Scott and White Hospital in Temple Texas. Scott and White Hospital was repeatedly awarded the top five hospitals in the country for its residency program. Mike has worked E.R. and Family Practice for
over 20 years.
